“I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra,” said the late Carrie Fisher. And so The Modbo presents a very special call for artists — a never-before-done fan art show. For just $12 (for up to three entries), you can enter your favorite fan art for The Modbo’s “Drowned in Moonlight” show, opening Friday, March 3rd. Depictions of celebrities who passed in 2016 up until the show’s submission date are welcome (e.g., Prince, George Michael, Carrie Fisher, David Bowie).
Work and payment must be dropped off at The Modbo on Wednesday, March 1st, between noon and six. Any piece submitted must be ready to hang, with two D-rings or eye screws affixed to the back of each piece — no exceptions.
