Something to Look Forward to This Weekend

First and foremost, our thoughts are with those displaced and harmed by the Black Forest and Royal Gorge fires.  We know this is a time of chaos and anguish for many.

The Modbo’s big event will go on as planned this Friday.  We hope you will join us to find solace in art and music.

You need Art.  Art needs You.  Now, more than ever.

The Modbo turns 4!

It’s hard to believe, but The Modbo gallery turns 4, June of 2013!  Please join us at 8:30 pm, Friday, June 14th, $7 suggested donation, for a very special Modbo Birthday Party. Once more, we’re celebrating in true Modbo fashion with a collaboration between two local bands and 26 students of the renowned Colorado College Summer Music Festival.  This year’s local musicians are Edith Makes a Paper Chain and Water Bear.  Don’t miss this amazing event, featuring sets from the bands, classical performances, and two collaborative pieces!  Local musician and arranger Jeremy Van Hoy will be arranging pieces for these collaborations.

Please don’t miss this amazing night of musical chaos, as we move quickly from band to band, ensemble to ensemble, and genre to genre (not to mention, building to building and alley to alley)!

As ever, this amazing event is just a $7 suggested donation, but with the opportunity to give more– we’ll be fundraising for our newest venture, The ModboCo– our new art school at Ivywild
