The Modbo presents a satirical and hilarious cabaret, just in time for leap day: “Mrs. Gladys Merriweather’s Young Ladies’ Guide to Venereal Etiquette.” You’ll have a chance to hear pearls of wisdom from Gladys Merriweather herself, as well as some appropriately dirty and funny songs from Solveig Olsen, Wendy Mike, Claire Swinford, Lauren Ciborowski, and comedic piano duo Swelter and Burn. Two short performances on Saturday, February 29th, one at 7 and one at 9:30 pm at The Modbo, 17C East Bijou, 80903. $15 strongly suggested donation. Doors open one half hour before each respective performance, and not a minute sooner. The Modbo is located in the Arts Alley in downtown Colorado Springs at 17C E. Bijou. Find the stretch of Bijou that is between Cascade and Tejon, and go south down the alley. Street parking is available, but The Modbo recommends the lot on Cascade just north of Bijou, which is only $1 after 3 pm or on weekends.
